Visteon Corporation today extended its congratulations and welcome to the General Electric Company on its plans to open an advanced manufacturing technology and software center on the 265-acre Visteon Village site in Van Buren Township, Mich., which also houses Visteon's corporate offices and innovation center.
"On behalf of Visteon's nearly 2,000 employees in Michigan, I want to welcome GE to Visteon Village and Southeast Michigan," said Visteon Chairman and CEO Don Stebbins. "We appreciate the efforts of Governor Granholm and all of the state and local officials that led to this announcement."
