Jewish Science and Technology Books Works by or about Jewish scientists and technologists and their theories, discoveries and applications. Jewish is defined as an adjective to describe those scientists and technologists who were born into the Jewish faith or who converted to Judaism (Jews of Choice). They may adhere to the tenets of Judaism to varying degrees. Science means the investigation of the structure and behaviour of the physical world, of phenomena and of ideas and thereby accumulating information about them. Investigations and results should be patently replicable by any competent researcher using similar equipment and methods. This is science as developed in the laboratory or classroom or through theoretical speculation and, via many of the books offered here, it may include a Torah and Talmudic basis. Technology means the practical, commercial or industrial application of scientific discoveries by inventors, engineers, architects, designers, industrialists, financiers and others.
