The Pancake Shop

Specialty foods including smoked meats, condiments, glazes, oils, vinegars and savory vegetables. The Pancake Shop has flourished under the ownership of the Ardman family since the early sixties. Tom and Ruth Ardman and their daughter Keeley have welcomed a number of celebrities to the restaurant, including entertainers Liberace and Al Hirt, noted horseman Woody Stephens, and comedian Joe E. Lewis, who would give Keeley a dollar every time he came in! When Tom passed away in 1980, Ruth took over the day to day management of the business. Under her watchful eye, the popularity of The Pancake Shop continued to increase. Ruth passed away in 2004 at the age of 85, and now Keeley and her husband Steve work together to maintain the level of quality and customer service for which The Pancake Shop is known. Not much has changed in the 40 years that the Ardman family has owned the restaurant. In fact, one of the original cooks is still in the kitchen!
