Haggar Clothing Co. announced today the appointment of David Yarbrough to the position of President of Men's and Women's Wear Sales. In addition to Women's Wear sales, Mr. Yarbrough will continue to direct the sales operation of all brands in the Haggar portfolio, including Haggar, Kenneth Cole Reaction, Kenneth Cole Unlisted, Claiborne, and the company's private brands. Mr. Yarbrough will continue to report to Jim Lewis, Haggar President and Chief Executive Officer.

Prior to joining Haggar in April, Mr. Yarbrough was Executive Vice President of Perry Ellis International, where he was responsible for operations, sales, merchandising, and sourcing for Tropical Sportswear. He also oversaw the acquisition, transition and merger of Tropical Sportswear into Perry Ellis International.

Previous to Perry Ellis, Mr. Yarbrough was Senior Vice President of the Private Brand division at Haggar, where he had contributed to substantial growth in the company's private brand business. He also served as President of Sales, B.U.M. Equipment U.S.A.
